The Xunqueira Festival brings music, tradition, and fun to Cee from August 13–16, 2025, with events for all ages. Each day features open‐air dances, street parades, and vermouth sessions that animate the town’s squares and streets until late at night.
On Wednesday, August 13, at 9:15 PM, Carlos Oliete’s opening speech kicks off the festivities, followed at 11:00 PM by a dance party with La Bamba Orchestra and Panorama City. On Thursday, August 14, from 11:00 PM, Fuego Orchestra and Mega CDC Mobile Disco host a ’90s-’00s remember session with DJ Rubén Martínez and DJ Rodeiro.
On Friday, August 15, Xunqueira Day begins with a parade by Charanga O Rumbo and the Cee Music Band leading into a 1:30 PM vermouth session. The afternoon features the traditional “rapa de cachos,” followed at 8:30 PM by a concert from the Cee Music Band. At 11:00 PM, dance under the stars with Atenas Orchestra and Trébol, capped by spectacular fireworks.
On Saturday, August 16, starting at 1:30 PM, enjoy a macro‐vermouth with Charanga Peta Forte, Santa Cruz de Ribadulla Music Band, and performances by Elebe and Judith Cundíns. A children’s festival takes over the seafront promenade at 5:00 PM, and at 8:30 PM, Fania Blanco Show leads the final dance.
