The Carmen Festival in Dumbría 2025 brings tradition, music, and community spirit to close out the summer on the Costa da Morte. On Saturday, August 30, the town’s streets will come alive with a bagpipe band parade, followed at 1:00 AM by the Solemn Mass in honor of Saint Anthony. Later in the afternoon, a vermouth session with Dúo Élite will whet your appetite, and as night falls, the grand open-air dance kicks off with Disco Móvil CDC and the New York Orchestra, promising non-stop celebration until the early hours.
On Sunday, August 31, festivities resume with a parade by Charanga O Rumbo, leading into the 1:00 AM Solemn Mass in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Afterwards, enjoy another vermouth session and evening dance with Orchestra Los Españoles, blending timeless dance classics with a contemporary twist. From 6:30 PM, free inflatables will keep the little ones entertained, making this festival a perfect family event.
Organized by the Dumbría Festival Committee, in collaboration with the Dumbría Town Council and supported by local residents and businesses, the Carmen Festival 2025 has earned its place as a must-attend summer event in Galicia.
