From August 1 to 3, the coastal village of Camelle will host its traditional Festas do Carme, turning the port into a vibrant celebration of music, local traditions and seaside festivities. On Friday the 1st, the party starts with a big churrascada barbecue accompanied by Dúo Musical Calú, followed by the Gran Noite Camelle Fest with a spectacular night of performances by TSS Project, Marcos Magán, David Bermúdez, Dreno Korme, Cotelo, BS and the Impacto mobile disco.
On Saturday the 2nd, Camelle will celebrate the maritime procession of Our Lady of Carmen, starting from the church and heading toward the harbor, accompanied by the traditional Danza de Arcos and the bagpipe group Gholpe de Mar. At noon, a solemn mass will be held, and in the evening, the party continues with a live performance by the orchestra Escaparate, followed by an electronic DJ set with DJ Nyan Boe and Andy Grape.
On Sunday the 3rd, the festivities will conclude with a solemn mass in honor of the Virgin of the Remedies, sung by a polyphonic choir at the Church of the Holy Spirit. The procession will once again feature the Danza de Arcos and Gholpe de Mar. The day ends with a daytime vermouth session and nighttime concert by the orchestra Atenas, capped off with a closing DJ set by DJ Sonic. A true Galician celebration by the sea, blending faith, music, and festivity.
