On Saturday, July 12, starting at 5:00 p.m., the ancient Celtic village of A Cidá de Borneiro will come to life with “Castro Animado,” an immersive cultural event celebrating the heritage of the Costa da Morte.
Visitors will enjoy a wide variety of activities: historical reenactments with the Clan de Breogán, traditional Galician games, live music by the bagpipe band O Son do Castro, an aerial circus and theater show (Sue Moreno 4.0), and guided animated tours of the castro with Yago Espasandín. There will also be tastings of local cuisine, Celtic-style drinks and ice cream, ceramics, crafts, and a lively evening foliada with various music groups from 8:30 p.m., including traditional queimada and churrasco.
