From the archaeological remains found, we can say that the first Mazarians of whom we have knowledge, lived in these lands approximately four thousand five hundred years ago. In the area of Corbeira, in Mámoas, in Val, in the Legua de Beba, in A Picota, etc., the first traces of the humanization of Mazaricos are found. These are the so-called dolmens or mámoas, most of which have not been excavated, except for the one in Parxubeira, which provided us with very interesting data about those times.
In the parish of Eirón, very close to the village of Corbeira, there is this important complex, with up to five dolmens, in which archaeological prospections were carried out with very clarifying results on the life of our neighbors four thousand five hundred years ago.
