A protected natural area, where the fresh waters of the Anllóns River and the salty waters of the Atlantic Ocean mix, creating a very productive and rich environment that changes with the tide. Outside the estuary, the Corme and Laxe estuaries open up to the ocean.

The estuary of the Anllóns River is a very productive place with a great diversity of life and scenic value. It is one of the most outstanding coastal complexes in Spain, in richness, variety and uniqueness of species of flora and fauna, especially migratory birds.
