Presentation of the program of activities “Laxe Outono 2018”

Presentacion del programa de actividades laxe outono 2018

The department of Trade, Hostalery and Tourism of Laxe presents the program of activities that are part of the project RELAXE, for the fourth quarter of this year 2018. In it we collect a program, complete and varied, designed for the most diverse audiences. Penedos de Pasarela and Traba enjoy for the first time a joint programming between the Councils of Laxe and Vimianzo.

On Saturday 20 at 9.00 there will be a walk through the Penedos. Participation is free and registration is available on the web turismolaxe.gal. For Saturday 27 at 6:00 pm a poetic recital is scheduled for the Protected Landscape. It will be in Cachucha and will be given by Manuel Rivas. The meeting point will be at the Unidad de Pasarela school at 7:00 p.m. and prior registration is not required.

Within the framework of the popular celebration of the Samaín, we organize a terrifying conference aimed at audiences over the age of 16. This is a new proposal, with which we intend to energize the November bridge and diversify the offer of tourist activities:

  • On Wednesday, October 31st, from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., we organize a path of terror through the seaside promenade. A distance of 1 km will be filled with scares and adventures, only suitable for the bravest. Exit in groups of 5 people will be done from the lifeguard hut.
  • On Thursday, November 1 will be the turn for the little ones. At 7:00 pm there will be a terrifying magic session at the Museum of the Sea. The show is open to all audiences. People over 16 years of age may participate in a terror tunnel on Friday November 2 from 8:00 p.m. It will be at the Museum of the Sea, turned into a terrifying psychiatric clinic for the occasion. The groups will be 5 people.
  • On Saturday, November 3 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., they will be live for ages over 16. The groups of 10 people will enter every 45 minutes. To these activities it is necessary to add the presentation of the book “Toponymy of the City council of Laxe”, and diverse informative talks on the distances of the plantations, velutina Avespa or Mycology.

Guided tours will also have a presence in the program of activities of the coming months: the visits to ETAP of Vadalama and the WWTP of the Quarry, the collection of mushrooms in the mountains of Laxe, and the religious heritage are the proposals.

And of course, practical activities through participatory workshops: one of ecological cuisine and sports nutrition, and another one of elaboration of handmade soap, complete this section. The campaigns of the commercial sector finally take place, through the celebration of the BLACK FRIDAY and a specific Christmas campaign. Both in collaboration with the local trade association, COMERLAXE. All activities are free and have the financial support of the Provincial Council of A Coruña.
