Find out more about XXXIII Roncudo Goose Barnacle Festival in Corme – 2025

On Saturday, July 19th, 2025, the town of Corme, in the municipality of Ponteceso, will host the 33rd edition of the Roncudo Goose Barnacle Festival, one of Galicia’s most iconic food events and officially recognized as a Festival of Tourist Interest.

This celebration honors the Roncudo barnacle, considered one of the finest in the world thanks to its intense flavor and the extreme conditions under which it is harvested on the rugged cliffs of the Costa da Morte. Throughout the day, thousands of visitors can enjoy tastings of this delicacy and other local seafood, accompanied by traditional music and a vibrant marine atmosphere.

The Festa do Percebe do Roncudo is the perfect opportunity to discover the charm of Corme and experience the true taste of the Atlantic. It is a must-attend event for seafood lovers and a tribute to the hard work and heritage of the local barnacle gatherers of this unique region in Galicia.
