The City council of Vimianzo propelled in this year with own funds to excavation of the big castrate of the Valley of Vimianzo: The Barriers. In April initiated the works of excavation to discover the history of this fortificación of the Age of . The Saturday 2 of June will have the opportunity to visit the archaeologic deposit, with the director of the excavations, Tito Concheiro. In this way we celebrate the start gave works that will continue in successive campaigns enlarging the knowledge of this castrate so singular.
The visit will be to the 12 of the midday, with one maximum of 50 participants, stop can realize the activity in conditions. We Will know the grain defensive system of the walls and foso of the castrate, strolling by the same, the archaeologic deposit with the rests of the circular buildings found and the own history that was this excavation. The activity is free.
