Camariñas celebrates the Virxe do Monte Pilgrimage Festival 2026 with four days of music, tradition and true local spirit, from Friday 3 to Monday 6 April. It’s one of those festivities where everyone comes together—families, friends and neighbours—to enjoy the romaría the Galician way: heartfelt, lively and unforgettable.
On Friday 3 April, there will be a night dance party with Orquesta Marbella and Disco Móbil Impacto. On Saturday 4 April, the celebration continues with a vermouth session and more music with Grupo Pasión and again Disco Móbil Impacto. On Sunday 5 April at 5:00 pm, the procession will depart from the Capela do Carme to Virxe do Monte, accompanied by bagpipers and a traditional firecracker salute.
On Monday 6 April, masses will be held at the chapel at 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00, followed by the solemn mass at 12:00, with procession and another firecracker salute. There will also be a vermouth session with Trío Alborada, and to finish in true romaría style: free tripe stew (“callos”) for everyone. Organised by the Comisión de Festas do Carmen de Camariñas, with support from the Camariñas Town Council.
