On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, the Touriñán Lighthouse in Muxía will host The Sky from Touriñán with Jorge Mira, a unique opportunity to discover the magic of the night sky at one of the westernmost points of continental Europe. The event will begin at 11:00 p.m. and will be led by physicist and science communicator Jorge Mira.
This activity is part of the Muxía Cultural program and aims to bring astronomy closer to everyone in an exceptional natural setting, where sea and sky come together to create an unforgettable experience.
The astronomical observation in Touriñán is a chance to learn how to identify stars and constellations in a privileged location on the Costa da Morte, blending science, outreach, and nature under a starry sky.
