Sementando Memoria takes place in Camariñas on 30 and 31 October 2026, bringing together two days of historical remembrance, research and public discussion about Franco-era repression in Galicia’s Costa da Morte region. The programme includes a memory walk, floral tributes, a book presentation, a talk and documentary screenings.
Organised by Camariñas Town Council with support from the Provincial Council of A Coruña, the event explores local history through the places, publications and people involved in preserving its memory.
Sementando Memoria connects historical scholarship with shared remembrance and the local places that carry this history. Activities take place in Camariñas and A Ponte do Porto, with a screening planned at Faro Vilán.
Dates: 30–31 October 2026. Location: Camariñas, A Coruña, Galicia. Refer to the event poster for the announced meeting points and times.
