The Concello de Zas will host a special cultural event this Friday, March 27, with the screening of the documentary “A Costa e os castelos”, an audiovisual work that invites viewers to rediscover the Costa da Morte through its historical heritage. The event will take place in the emblematic Torres do Allo, a setting that perfectly matches the theme of the film.
The screening will begin at 8:30 p.m. and admission will be free until full capacity is reached. The 30-minute documentary travels through castles, towers and manor houses across the region, building a story that combines historical research with a contemporary reflection on our relationship with heritage. It is a cultural plan designed to enjoy, learn from and experience the history that surrounds us in a different way.
Directed by Alejandro Gándara Porteiro, who also signs the production, script and editing, “A Costa e os castelos” stands out for its carefully crafted technical and narrative quality. The project was also recognised in the III “Fondo de proxectos culturais Reino de Galicia” competition organised by the Provincial Council of A Coruña, confirming its strong cultural and educational value.
