The Grand San Isidro Festival in Quintáns 2025 takes place from August 1st to 3rd in Quintáns, a parish of the Muxía municipality, at the heart of Costa da Morte. Three days of Galician tradition, open-air gastronomy, and live music bring together locals and visitors for an unforgettable coastal celebration.
Friday, August 1st:Grand Sardine Feast from 8:00 PM with fresh sardines, Padrón peppers, cornbread, and unlimited wine, accompanied by the Santa Compaña brass band. At night, an open-air verbena with Dúo D’Festa and CDC mobile disco.
Saturday, August 2nd (Saint Mary of the Head Day): street parade by Xaramiños do Corpiño, followed by a solemn Mass at 1:00 PM in honor of Saint Mary of the Head with procession, then a vermouth session with Dúo D’Festa. Evening verbena features Orchestra Principal and CDC mobile disco.
Sunday, August 3rd (Saint Isidore the Farmer Day): street parade with Xaramiños do Corpiño and a solemn Mass at 1:30 PM, followed by the traditional Sword Dance procession. The vermouth session is hosted by the Galilea Orchestra, and the grand evening verbena closes the festival with Galilea and DJ Modes.
