From September 6th to 14th, Caión hosts one of the most heartfelt religious celebrations in Costa da Morte: the feast of Our Lady of Miracles. A week filled with devotion, masses, and processions that gather pilgrims and faithful from across Galicia.
Religious schedule:
Saturday 6: Beginning of the novena at the parish church at 8:30 pm.
Sunday 7: Masses at 10:00 am, 11:00 am, and 12:00 pm. Procession to the sanctuary and solemn mass at 1:30 pm. In the afternoon, masses at 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, and 8:00 pm.
Monday 8: Masses at 9:00 am, 10:00 am, 11:00 am, and 12:00 pm. Solemn mass at 1:00 pm. Afternoon masses at 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, and 8:00 pm.
September 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13: Daily masses at 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, and 8:00 pm.
Sunday 14: Masses at the sanctuary at 10:00 am, 11:00 am, and 12:00 pm. Procession of the Descent of the Virgin and mass at 1:30 pm. Afternoon masses at 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, and 8:00 pm.
An event of faith and devotion that turns Caión into a spiritual landmark every September.
