The parish of Corme will celebrate the Festas do Carmen de Corme on July 15th and 16th, 2025, one of the most emblematic festivals of Costa da Morte, celebrated in many coastal towns across the region. This event blends seafaring tradition, a maritime procession, and a popular open-air party in an incomparable Atlantic setting.
On Tuesday, July 15th, the nighttime verbena kicks off with Mega CDC, Kike Varela, and DJ Beny, who will keep the crowd dancing with the best rhythms for all audiences.
On Wednesday, July 16th, the day begins with a parade led by the Inllar do Couto Bagpipe Band, followed at 12:00 PM by a Mass honoring deceased fishermen and shellfish gatherers. Next comes the traditional maritime procession through the ria. In the morning, the grand vermouth session features Grupo Elebé 2.0 and Mega CDC. In the afternoon, children can enjoy bouncy castles and a foam party. The big nighttime verbena brings back Grupo Elebé 2.0, Mega CDC, and Drew Korme for a final festive celebration.
