On 8 October 2026, the UNED Vimianzo classroom opens its doors to welcome the new academic year and introduce students and prospective learners to the opportunities for distance learning from the Costa da Morte. The session will take place from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at UNED Vimianzo, Rúa Braña B, and can also be followed live online or watched later.
This welcome session offers a practical introduction to UNED’s academic programmes, study methodology and the main resources available to students. It will cover key topics such as enrolment, tutorials, the virtual campus, student services and how distance learning works.
The event will also include a practical demonstration of the virtual learning environment and the tools used to support students throughout their studies. The session will be led by Ana Mónica Novo García, Director of the UNED A Coruña Associated Centre.
