The Baio Sociocultural Centre will host an open meeting on Wednesday, 7 October 2026 at 7:00 pm to present and discuss the development of the Vía Mariana, an itinerary closely connected with local heritage, the landscape and new opportunities for rural development.
Organised by GDR Costa da Morte, the session will provide an introduction to the Vía Mariana project, its links with the area’s cultural and natural heritage, and the possibilities it may offer for the future of the territory.
The meeting is designed as a space to share information, gather proposals and encourage discussion among people interested in the route and in its potential as a tool for connection, heritage enhancement and local development.
The event is an opportunity to learn about the initiative first-hand, share ideas and take part in the conversation about the future role of the Vía Mariana in the area.
