The Innovating for the Sea workshop in Camariñas is set to become a key meeting point for anyone interested in the future of the sea in Galicia. On Friday 28 November, from 5:15 pm to 8:30 pm, the Fishermen’s Guild of Camariñas will host this hybrid event, both on-site and online, where pioneering projects that are reshaping the fishing and marine ecosystem through innovation and sustainability will be presented.
Throughout the Innovating for the Sea workshop in Camariñas, participants will discover cutting-edge initiatives such as algae-based biorefineries, sustainable pet food solutions, and valorisation of marine waste, along with the use of new technologies applied to the ocean. It is a great opportunity to get inspired by real projects already underway and to learn how to launch ideas that create a positive impact in the Costa da Morte area.
During the Innovating for the Sea workshop in Camariñas, attendees will also learn about the funding schemes offered by GALP Costa da Morte and other financing opportunities for sea- and fisheries-related projects.
