Festiletras 2026 – 44th edition

Festiletras 2026 celebrates its 44th edition on 22 and 23 August 2026 in Aldea do Couto, Ponteceso. One of the area’s long-running cultural gatherings returns with music, literature, family activities and a programme designed for audiences of all ages.

On Saturday 22 August, the programme spreads across several locations in O Couto, with free activities running from 11:00 into the evening. Music, games, children’s entertainment and cultural encounters turn the village itself into a network of small stages.

Festiletras once again turns O Couto into an open-air cultural space, inviting visitors to walk through the village, discover artists and enjoy Galician culture in a welcoming community setting. It is an excellent reason to visit Ponteceso and experience one of the Costa da Morte’s most established cultural events.
