The traditional Festa da Carballeira de Baio 2025 will take place on Sunday, June 29th, as usual on the last Sunday of the month. This emblematic celebration, organized by the Council of Zas in collaboration with the Baio Festivities Commission and the Adro Cultural Association, will be held in a unique natural setting listed in the Galician Catalogue of Singular Trees, adding great environmental and cultural value.
Organizers are asking all attendees to help protect the environment: no parking on the grounds, no open fires, no enclosed tents, and no sound systems will be allowed, in order to preserve this exceptional space. This year’s edition features a new visual identity, with updated posters and official t-shirts already available at local businesses.
The day’s festivities will begin at 12:00 PM with the performance of the Adro Bagpipe Band. During the midday session and evening party, the music will be provided by DJ Expósito, Dúo La Mekanica, and Dúo Son 2. In the afternoon, Charanga Noroeste will bring the party to life among the oak trees — the perfect setting to enjoy friendship, music and tradition at the Festa da Carballeira de Baio 2025.
