From September 6th to 14th, the parish of Caión (A Laracha) hosts one of Galicia’s largest and most beloved pilgrimages: the Feast of Our Lady of Miracles. Declared a Festival of Tourist Interest, it combines deep devotion with lively celebrations full of music and tradition.
The festive program features lively daytime sessions and evening dances with top orchestras and groups such as Alcázar, La Bamba, Los Players, Los Coleguitas, and Alaska, as well as entertainment from Disco Móbil CDC. Families will also enjoy the “Children’s Day” with a tourist train and inflatable games.
On the religious side, thousands of devotees gather every year at the Sanctuary of the Miracles of Caión to attend masses, novenas, and processions. The Virgin’s Ascension on September 7th and the emotional Descent on the 14th are the highlights of this celebration, bringing together faith, tradition, and community spirit.
