On 4 September, the Diversiplás workshop in Nantón, Cabana de Bergantiños, will open its doors to show how plastic waste can be transformed into new resources. This free event is open to the public and offers a close look at a circular-economy project with both environmental and social impact in Costa da Morte.
During the visit, you can explore the Diversiplás facilities and learn about the recovery, sorting and transformation of plastic. The aim is to show, in a practical way, what happens when waste is no longer treated as rubbish but as a raw material with new possibilities.
Date: Friday, 4 September 2026.
Time: 10:00–13:00.
Activity: free and open to the public.
Registration: open until 3 September.
Information and registration: 981 734 985 / 650 961 649.
Diversiplás is a project promoted by Asociación Íntegro, bringing the public closer to practical ways of preventing waste, recovering materials and creating new products. The activity is co-funded by the European Union, the Xunta de Galicia and GALP Costa da Morte.
From waste to resource: an opportunity to discover Diversiplás from the inside and see what can begin with a second life for plastic.
