September in Muxía will be filled with art, tradition, and community thanks to the program Cultural Echoes of A Barca 2025, bringing together music, theater, cinema, guided tours, and popular traditions during the famous Festivities of A Barca.
On Friday, September 5th, the Virxe da Barca Polyphonic Choir will perform a concert outside the Sanctuary. On Saturday 6th, street chess games will take place in Cabo da Vila Square (morning and afternoon), and the Municipal School of Theater will present its play at 8:00 p.m. in the Volunteer Hall.
The program continues on Monday 8th with the screening of the documentary “Camiño Xacobeo Santiago–Muxía through Brandomil” with Manuel Vilar, followed on Thursday 11th by a guided tour of the town, and closing on Monday 15th with the sunset alalá of A Barca, a traditional collective singing gathering at Punta da Barca. A month to celebrate culture, emotions, and shared heritage.
