The Vimianzo Festival Committee is thrilled to present the lineup for the August Festival 2025, a celebration designed for all ages that will take place from August 8–11 at the new Festival Grounds, located near the helipad next to the Casa da Cultura. Though the location has changed this year, the festive spirit remains as strong as ever, featuring open-air dances, street parades, live music, and religious ceremonies in honor of the Virgin of Carmen and Saint Roch.
On Friday, August 8, the night will kick off with a grand dance party by Orquesta París de Noia and the band Master, while Saturday, August 9 will feature a lively street parade with the Ponteceso Music Band and Trubisquiñas, a sung Mass, and an electrifying dance with Orquesta Panorama. On Sunday, August 10, the bagpipe group Os Farrapos de Cesullas will fill the streets with traditional Galician music, followed by a vermouth session with Veneguay and a closing party with Orquesta La Fórmula.
The festival will wrap up with Children’s Day (August 11), a special occasion to close the celebrations with joy and tradition. The Committee invites locals and visitors alike to enjoy this unique event, where music, culture, and community take center stage.
