The Abaleiras Magosto 2025 in Muxía turns the fish market hall into a lively autumn celebration. On Saturday, 15 November, from 16:00, enjoy a family-friendly games gymkhana and free roasted chestnuts in a warm, seafaring atmosphere. A simple, joyful way to welcome the season in Muxía.
At 18:00, the foliada (traditional folk jam) led by the Abaleiras de Muxía —with guest groups— brings voices, tambourines and dancing to the floor, inviting everyone to join in. Community vibe and participation make the Abaleiras Magosto 2025 in Muxía a must-go gathering.
Foodies get an extra treat with the 1st Empanada Contest: sign-up and drop-off on the day from 15:00 to 16:00 (one empanada per person, handmade, free-choice filling, presented ready to eat). The jury —three people linked to local commerce and hospitality— will taste and vote between 17:00 and 18:00; awards (Autumn hamper, ham, and traditional products pack) will be announced at 20:00.
