The 38th Ézaro Beach Festival returns on August 2nd and 3rd, transforming this corner of the Costa da Morte into a vibrant family gathering. From 12:00 to 13:30 and 16:00 to 20:00, enjoy children’s workshops (crafts and upcycling), skill games for all ages, and inflatables, plus a popular sardine barbecue at noon accompanied by the lively Charanga O Rumbo.
On Saturday, August 2, starting at 4:00 PM along the seafront promenade, the program features the Garabato de Xogos by the Rede Cultural and additional kids’ workshops (bracelets and box recycling). At 7:00 PM, the “Hoxe sí! Sempre arriba” new circus show blends acrobatics, humor, and music for all audiences, followed at 8:15 PM by a performance from Coral Eburnie showcasing Ivory Coast pieces. In the evening at the Ézaro Waterfall, the Gramola Yé Yé will spin summer hits of the ’60s and ’70s, and the falls will be lit up until 12:30 AM.
On Sunday, August 3, the festival repeats its morning and afternoon workshops and games, adding two highlights: the Ézaro Beach OCR, an obstacle course for participants aged 8+ led by DaFit, and traditional games like the Baile do Cañoto. In the late afternoon at 7:30 PM, the Finisterre Orchestra will provide the musical finale.
This free event, organized by the Dumbría Town Council and the Cultural Network of the Diputación da Coruña, offers a unique blend of culture, sport, and tradition in a stunning natural setting. Find full details in the CMAT Agenda and join us for an unforgettable summer by the Atlantic.
