The 35th Camariñas Lace Fair 2026 will take place from April 1 to 5 with a programme that will once again turn the town into a major showcase for Camariñas lace, fashion, craftsmanship and Galician culture. Under the slogan “Where thread becomes art”, this new edition aims to highlight Camariñas as the place where the heart of craftsmanship beats strongest in Galicia, with a wide-ranging programme that brings together tradition, creativity, emerging talent and activities designed for all audiences.
Over the five days of the fair there will be catwalk shows featuring Established Designers, Young Designers, ArtEncaixe, International Delegations, PequeEncaixe and Senior Lace Makers, together with an appealing parallel programme including performances by Luar na Lubre, Antía Muíño, Sebastián Allones Dans, the show “Fíos de Salitre”, theatre, comedy monologues and several book presentations. One of the main new features this year will be the حضور of designer José Perea, who will create a dress live in record time, as well as an extraordinary council session at the venue itself to ratify the renaming of Avenida Ambrosio Feijoo as Avenida das Palilleiras.
The 35th Camariñas Lace Fair 2026 will also once again include the “Gourmet entre encaixes” area, food tastings, craft demonstrations and a children’s play area, reinforcing the open and festive spirit of an event that every year projects the identity of Camariñas both within and beyond Galicia.
