On July 19 and 20, Vimianzo hosts the 27th edition of Rapa das Bestas, a unique and thrilling tradition in the heart of Costa da Morte. The event kicks off on Saturday 19 with the descent of wild horses from Monte Faro, horseback rides through town, local games, and a potro (foal) meat tasting dinner at 10:00 PM, accompanied by live music from Charanga Os Celtas and Dúo D’Festa.
Sunday 20 features the equestrian liberty dressage show by Paco Martos (12:00 PM), followed by the roundup of horses into the enclosure at 1:30 PM, and a live vermouth session with Laura Ocampos. The event also includes food stalls, raffles, and children’s entertainment with inflatables, face painting, and balloon art.
A weekend filled with Galician heritage, nature, and family fun. Free camping is available, making it a perfect rural getaway.
