Baio will celebrate its San Cristovo and Santa Bárbara festivities on 10 and 11 July 2026. The programme will combine religious ceremonies, musical parades, vermouth sessions and major evening dances featuring several popular bands and orchestras.
On Friday, 10 July, there will be a street parade featuring the Eduardo Pondal Music Band from Corme and the Gaiteiros de Adro. Masses will be held at 10:00 and 11:00 a.m., followed by a solemn Mass at 12:00 noon in the Igrexa Nova and the traditional vehicle procession. Orquesta Alianza will perform during the vermouth session, while the evening dance will feature Alianza and París de Noia.
On Saturday, 11 July, the feast day of Santa Bárbara, the Gaiteiros de Adro will lead the musical parade. A sung Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Igrexa Nova, followed by a vermouth session with Galia. The festivities will conclude with an evening dance featuring Galia and Orquesta Bomba.
