The 2025 Christmas in Dumbría programme turns the local cultural centres into a big family meeting point, where children can bring their letters to Santa Claus, the Apalpador or the Three Wise Men. Throughout several days in December and early January there will be workshops, magic shows, circus, storytelling and very special visits in the different parishes of the municipality.
Connection with Santa Claus from the five computer classrooms, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm: Monday 15 in O Ézaro, Tuesday 16 in Olveira, Wednesday 17 in Buxantes, Thursday 18 in Berdeogas and Friday 19 in O Conco.
Children’s woodcraft workshops with Muxiarte, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm: Monday 15 in O Conco, Tuesday 16 in Berdeogas, Wednesday 17 in O Ézaro, Thursday 18 in Olveira and Friday 19 in Buxantes.
Cultural centres open on 22, 23, 26 and 30 December and 2 January, with craft workshops and board games: from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in Olveira, O Ézaro, Berdeogas and Buxantes, and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in O Conco (Berdeogas and Buxantes will be closed on the 2nd).
Cooking workshops for children: Monday 22 in Olveira (11:00 am); Tuesday 23 in Berdeogas (11:00 am) and in Bustelo (4:00 pm, with crafts); Friday 26 in Buxantes (11:00 am); Tuesday 30 in O Conco (4:00 pm) and Friday 2 in O Ézaro (11:00 am).
Afternoon shows at 6:00 pm: Monday 22 in O Conco with magic by Mago Dani García; Tuesday 23 in Buxantes with storytelling by Mundos Contados. Talia; Friday 26 in Berdeogas with music and tales by A elfa Carmiña; Tuesday 30 in O Ézaro with Christmas stories by Vero Rilo; and Friday 2 in Olveira with circus by Zirco Txosko.
Monday 29 December: Children’s Party in O Conco, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, with games, music, crafts, lunch, transport and a circus show by Pista Catro (Provincial Cultural Network). A registration form must be handed in before the 19th at the Town Hall or at the cultural centres.
Sunday 5 January: Visit of the Three Wise Men to the cultural centres, with the Wise Men touring the municipality: 4:00 pm in Berdeogas, 4:30 pm in Olveira, 5:00 pm in Buxantes, 5:40 pm in O Ézaro, 6:20 pm in Bustelo and 6:40 pm in O Conco.
