Pazos will once again fill with voices, harmonies and emotion for a summer event with a warm local spirit. On Saturday, 22 August 2026 at 8:00 pm, the Divino Salvador Parish Church in Pazos, Ponteceso, hosts the 19th Pazos Popular Song Festival.
The festival brings together three ensembles with strong choral traditions: Coral Polifónica Santiago Apóstol de Mens, Coral Polifónica Brisas do Mar de Camariñas and Coral Polifónica San Salvador de Pazos. It is a celebration of popular music and of the groups that keep Galicia’s choral tradition alive across the Costa da Morte and its surrounding area.
The 19th Pazos Popular Song Festival is a lovely opportunity to discover the repertoire, sensitivity and collective power of three Galician choirs in a setting with a distinctive atmosphere and acoustics.
The event is organised by Coral San Salvador de Pazos with the support of Ponteceso Council and Deputación da Coruña. If you enjoy live music, add it to your plans and come along for a friendly cultural evening full of song.
