On Sunday, 30 August 2026 at 5:00 pm, Camping Lago-Mar in Merexo, Muxía, hosts a beginner workshop in traditional Galician dance with Grupo Novo Viana. Part of the Agosto no Lagomar programme, the session offers an accessible introduction to Galician folk dance with no previous experience required.
The workshop is designed for anyone who wants to learn basic steps, rhythms and group dynamics in a relaxed setting. Grupo Novo Viana will guide participants through the session, helping newcomers connect movement with traditional Galician music and experience one of Galicia’s most vibrant forms of living heritage.
A hands-on cultural plan in Muxía and the Costa da Morte for anyone keen to learn, move and enjoy Galician dance by the sea.
