On Friday, 14 August 2026 at 7:00 pm, the Museo de Corme will host the talk “The granaries of the Costa da Morte: material and intangible aspects of a symbol of our heritage”.
Researchers Carlos Regueira Méndez and Xosé María Lema Suárez will explore the historical, architectural, ethnographic and cultural importance of these traditional structures. Carlos Regueira will focus on their material features, while Xosé María Lema will discuss the intangible heritage associated with cabazos.
The event is organised by the Concello de Ponteceso with support from APATRIGAL, the Rede Internacional HORREA and the Deputación da Coruña. Admission is free, subject to venue capacity.
