Vilaño 2026

Vilaño 2026 will take place from 18 to 27 July in Vilaño, A Laracha, with a programme combining local festivities, live music, children’s activities, heritage and community events.

The programme features the IX Carreira do Apóstolo, Panorama City, Vilaño Fest, Atardecer no Castro, Pequefesta, A Aldea das Marabillas and a screening of the documentary Mulleres de Vilaño.

Programme for Vilaño 2026

• Monday 20 to Friday 24 July: A Aldea das Marabillas, from 10:00 to 14:00, with mornings of games, art and nature for children aged 4 to 12. Places are limited and registration is available on the Adro de Vilaño website.
• Thursday, 23 July: at 20:30, presentation and screening of the documentary Mulleres de Vilaño, produced by Castelo Conta.
• Friday, 24 July: at 22:30, a major open-air dance with Orquesta Panorama City and Disco Móvil Impacto featuring DJ Cotelo. At 00:00, fireworks display.
• Saturday, 25 July: at 13:30, solemn mass in honour of Saint James the Apostle; at 14:30, vermouth session with Laura Añón, Ángel Sevilla and JJ Compota; at 22:00, Vilaño Fest, an urban music festival with concerts by Kid Mount and Xmaseda65, plus DJ sets by Bermu, Cotelo, Sote, Anxo Silva and Borja Solla. A Punto Violeta information stand will be open from 23:00 to 03:00.
• Sunday, 26 July: at 13:30, solemn mass for the Blessed Sacrament; at 14:30, vermouth session with Dúo Veneguay; at 17:00, Atardecer no Castro at Castro de Montes Claros, featuring traditional games with Xogando Miudiño, a dramatised visit by K’Paparota Teatro and Puri Soto, Charanga Tradicional Os Máquinas, a castro-style dinner and concerts by SÉS, Irma Macías and Luis Pinto, and Daniela Montes. This activity is organised by Adro de Vilaño and Concello da Laracha.
• Monday, 27 July: at 13:30, solemn mass in honour of Saint Roch; at 14:30, vermouth session with Dúo Caramelo; at 17:00, Pequefesta, a children’s party with games, music, inflatables, face painting, a foam party and a free snack.
