The 9th Labarta Pose Amateur Theatre Festival arrives in Zas with a record-breaking edition, confirming its place as one of the most important amateur theatre events in Galicia.
The Concello de Zas closed the registration period with an outstanding result: 49 plays submitted by theatre companies from across Galicia. This is the highest number recorded in the festival’s nine editions and clearly shows the growing interest in this cultural event, as well as the strength and vitality of Galician amateur theatre.
The performances of the 9th Labarta Pose Amateur Theatre Festival will take place on Saturdays 23 and 30 May, and 6, 13 and 20 June. The jury will select five plays for the official programme, along with three reserve proposals. The closing ceremony and awards presentation will be held on 27 June, bringing to an end an edition that already stands out for its exceptional participation.
