As part of the 8M (International Women’s Day) programme, Camariñas is hosting “Chicas nuevas 24 horas”, an exhibition that denounces human trafficking of women and girls for sexual exploitation and brings visibility to a reality that is often kept hidden.
The exhibition will be held at IES Pedra da Aguia and will run until 15 March, alongside educational and awareness activities focused on prevention and youth engagement.
In addition, on Thursday 12 March at 18:30, the Museo do Encaixe will host a screening of the documentary “Chicas nuevas 24 horas”, written and directed by Mabel Lozano, with free entry until full capacity. A timely opportunity to learn, reflect, and stand against one of the most severe forms of violence affecting women and girls.
