To mark March 8 (International Women’s Day), the Zas Town Council is running a programme of activities across the municipality’s education centres, promoting gender equality and awareness from an early age. Students from CEIP Labarta Pose, CPI de Zas and IES Maximino Romero de Lema will take part.
The programme begins on March 6 at CEIP Labarta Pose with “Os contos do avó: mulleres galegas” (pre-school and 1st grade) and “Superheroínas 8M” (2nd, 3rd and 4th grade). On Monday, March 9, both activities will be held at CPI de Zas, and that same day “Igualdade, onde estás?” will take place for secondary students (ESO) from IES Maximino Romero de Lema and CPI de Zas.
To round things off, on Friday, March 27, ESO students at CPI de Zas will join the activity “Encaixando pezas”. A full month to reflect, learn and keep moving towards a more equal Zas, built on respect and freedom.
