From October 4th to November 16th, 2025, the Municipality of Zas will host in Baio the cultural cycle Follas de Outono 2025 in Baio, a literary program that will make the town a cultural hub in Costa da Morte.
The cycle will feature 9 cultural activities including book presentations, theatre, storytelling, school-based events, and literary encounters. Highlights include the presentation of “Badius: historia dun grupo de teatro afeccionado (1984-2024)” by Ricardo Vigueret (October 4th), the visit of Marta Villar, winner of the Xerais Novel Prize 2024 (October 18th), and the school play “Pegadas de Castelao” (October 24th).
The closing event will take place on November 16th, Cultural Heritage Day, with “Cantareiras: tradición e legado”, featuring Fina Casalderrey (RAG) and the traditional singers of the Asociación Cultural Adro, paying tribute to the cantareiras, who were the focus of the Galician Literature Day 2025.
