On Thursday, August 14, 2025, the As Pedreiras Football Field in Verdillo (Carballo) will host the 10th Marcial García Memorial, an emotional match in tribute to the memory of this beloved neighbor and sports enthusiast. The game will feature Sociedad Deportiva San Lorenzo de Verdillo and Sporting Cambre in a heartfelt friendly match.
The match will kick off at 8:30 p.m., bringing together family, friends, neighbors, and football fans to remember Marcial García and enjoy an evening of sport and camaraderie.
Organized with the support of the Carballo Town Council, this memorial has become a staple in the local calendar, combining tribute, sport, and community in one event.
