The Carmen Festival in Sardiñeiro 2025 kicks off on Friday, August 8 with the classic Great Sardine Feast at 9:00 PM, featuring bread, wine, and live tunes from Charanga O Rumbo. Afterwards, dance the night away at the open‐air dance party with Dúo EnClavedeTi and Fabrik Mobile Disco, offering hits for all ages.
On Saturday, August 9, at 10:00 AM, a street parade departs from the Casa da Cultura to Sardiñeiro Harbor, where a Solemn Mass in honor of Our Lady of Carmen is held at 11:00 AM. At noon, the maritime procession fills the estuary with decorated boats and community devotion. Throughout the day, enjoy free inflatables for children (8:00–10:00 PM) and family‐friendly activities.
Saturday night returns the Fabrik Mobile Disco alongside the Alborada Trio, closing out the festival with live music and a festive atmosphere. Additionally, the Novena takes place on August 6, 7 & 8 at 7:00 PM, inviting the public to join the religious ceremonies.
