Fisterra Saint Week

Neighbours of Fisterra will honour from 31 March to the 2 of Abril to Santo Christ gives Beard Dourada. His festivity coincides with the celebration of the Saint Week, one of the most important of the region, that this year will carry out from 23 March to the 1 of Abril. The Saint Week of Fisterra is declared of National Tourist Interest.

Friday 23 March, to the 20.00 hours will celebrate the solemn mass sung by the Chorus of Nosa Lady give Areas, followed of the procession of Our Lady of the Pains, that will be accompanied during his route by the Municipal Band of Cee.

Saturday 24, in this day will carry out the peregrinación to the Very saint Christ of Fisterra. The exit will effect to the 16.00 hours from the stop of buses of Fisterra and to the 16.30 hours from the church of Cee. To the 20.00 hours oficiará the solemn mass in the church parish of Santa María give Areas.

Sunday 25, Sunday of Bouquets, the day will begin to the 11.15 hours with the blessing of the bouquets and the palms in the chapel of Or Bo Event. Act followed will take place the procession of the Entrance Triunfal of Jesús in Jerusalén until the church of Santa María give Areas. The procession will be accompanied by the Band of Music of Ark-Or Pino. Once in the temple, oficiará the Saint Mass sung by the Chorus Nosa Lady do Carmen.

Friday 30, Saint Friday, to the 11.30 hours will give start in the praza of Santa Catalina the Road Crucis, also known like Painful Station or Station de la Cruz, followed of the Saint Meeting that will carry out in the praza gives Constitution, place this last where will continue the route until the parish church, with the accompaniment of the Band of Santa Cruz of Rivadulla.
To the 20.00 hours will take place in the church of Santa María give Areas the liturgy of the day and the act of the Desenclavado of Jesús. The acts of the day will culminate with the procession of the Saint Burial, that will be accompanied by the Band Ark-Or Pino, Band of Santa Cruz of Rivadulla and Band Desiderio Paz of Fisterra.
