The skies over Costa da Morte are getting ready for one of the summer’s most remarkable astronomical events. On Friday 31 July 2026 at 18:00, the exhibition room at Faro Vilán in Camariñas will host the talk «A Costa da Morte Eclipsa».
Virginia Barros, a Starlight guide and astrotourism communicator, will share the key ideas behind the eclipse on 12 August and help the audience enjoy it with a more informed and curious perspective. The session offers an accessible introduction to what makes this phenomenon so special and how to experience it from a place as distinctive as Costa da Morte.
Admission is free until capacity is reached. An afternoon to look up, learn and begin the countdown to the eclipse.
