Once again, Carballo becomes Galicia’s cultural capital with the FIOT 2025 – International Autumn Theatre Festival, held from September 25th to October 31st. Over a month packed with theatre, culture, and creativity.
In its 34th edition, the festival brings more than 45 shows, including 11 world premieres, with performances from Spain, Argentina, and Belgium, as well as theatre companies from nine Spanish regions. The program features main stage productions, street theatre, the storytelling cycle Rúa dos Contos, intimate micro-performances, FIOTeén for teenagers, FIOTiño for children, and FIOT en Ruta, spreading theatre across the wider area.
FIOT is more than a festival – it’s a collective experience that turns Carballo and Costa da Morte into a vibrant stage every autumn, making it a must-see for theatre lovers and visitors alike.
