25N 2025 in Muxía invites the whole community to take a stand: zero tolerance towards gender-based violence. On Monday, 25 November, Cabo da Vila Square becomes a shared space for remembrance, awareness and action.
At 12:00 we will hold the institutional statement reading, with Mayor Javier Sar and the Equality Councillor Aurelia Picallo. We will then switch on the symbolic violet lights, a collective gesture of remembrance and commitment. From 12:30 to 14:30, the square will host “Dálle unha volta”, an information stand with a wheel to challenge myths around love, jealousy and violence—join in, reflect and take a small giveaway. Throughout the day, local primary schools will run playful, age-appropriate prevention activities. Together in Muxía, we keep moving towards a society free from violence.
