The 14th Vimianzo Town Road Race will take place on April 12 as one of the standout sporting events of the spring season in Costa da Morte. As part of the Correndo pola Costa da Morte Running Circuit, this race will once again turn Vimianzo into a meeting point for runners, families and fans of popular athletics, with a full morning designed for racing, cheering and enjoying the atmosphere of an event that is already well established in the local calendar. With the castle as its striking backdrop, the race brings together everything needed for a lively and memorable day.
The programme for the 14th Vimianzo Town Road Race will begin with the main race at 10:30 a.m., followed by the 3K against cancer at 10:32 a.m. and the 10K race at 11:00 a.m.. Around midday, the younger age categories will take over, with the under-12 race at 12:15 p.m., under-10 at 12:30 p.m. and pitufos at 12:45 p.m.. Bib collection will open at 9:00 a.m. and the prize ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m., rounding off a busy and energetic morning of athletics in Vimianzo.
Registration for the 14th Vimianzo Town Road Race costs 8 euros plus 1 euro for the timing chip, while the youth categories are free of charge. The registration deadline is April 7. It is an appealing event both for those taking part and for those who simply enjoy the atmosphere from the sidelines, combining effort, solidarity and the warm spirit of community sport in the heart of Vimianzo.
