The Costa da Morte now has its own video game. Costa da Morte Runner<\/strong> is a new digital experience that invites players to explore the territory through an adventure inspired by classic arcade games, featuring a retro pixel-art style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project, promoted by the Association of Tourism Professionals of the Costa da Morte (APTCM)<\/strong>, was presented at F\u00f3rum Carballo. The event was attended by its creator, Vimianzo-based software developer Mart\u00edn Caama\u00f1o<\/strong>, members of the association and the vice-president of the Deputaci\u00f3n da Coru\u00f1a, Xos\u00e9 Regueira<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game allows players to travel through the 17 municipalities of the Costa da Morte geodestination<\/strong>, visiting 27 towns and locations. Throughout the adventure, players encounter landscapes, monuments, characters, historical events and legends connected to the territory, making the game an original and entertaining way to discover the heritage of the Costa da Morte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eustaquio, the hero of the adventure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The main character is Eustaquio<\/strong>, a figure inspired by the image of the Costa da Morte Death Coast brand. During his journey, he must overcome obstacles, complete challenges and face a range of legendary characters in order to rescue Princess M\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game includes many elements connected to the identity of the region, including surfing, the Camino, traditional trades, gastronomy, shipwrecks, castles and numerous local legends. Its settings and references include places such as Malpica, Ponteceso, Corme, Carballo, Laxe, Camari\u00f1as, Vimianzo, Mux\u00eda, Dumbr\u00eda, Cee, Corcubi\u00f3n and Fisterra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new way to promote the Costa da Morte<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This initiative uses entertainment and new technologies as tools for showcasing the natural, cultural and historical wealth of the territory. Its format is particularly appealing to younger audiences, as well as retro-game enthusiasts and anyone wishing to discover the Costa da Morte from a different perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Costa da Morte Runner is free to play<\/strong> and can be accessed directly through a web browser on mobile phones, tablets and computers, without the need to install an application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
