{"id":81786,"date":"2026-05-15T07:58:48","date_gmt":"2026-05-15T05:58:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/visitacostadamorte.com\/?p=81786"},"modified":"2026-05-15T08:01:31","modified_gmt":"2026-05-15T06:01:31","slug":"the-cmat-discusses-a-common-model-for-the-costa-da-morte-with-the-motorhome-sector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/visitacostadamorte.com\/en\/news\/the-cmat-discusses-a-common-model-for-the-costa-da-morte-with-the-motorhome-sector","title":{"rendered":"The CMAT discusses a common model for the Costa da Morte with the motorhome sector"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Taking advantage of the board meeting, the organisation also held a working session with the vice-president of the <strong>Asociaci\u00f3n Galega de Autocaravanas (AGA)<\/strong> with the aim of analysing the current situation of <strong>motorhome tourism in the Costa da Morte<\/strong> and moving towards a common position among the different municipalities in the territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The president of the CMAT opened the meeting by explaining that the issue of motorhomes is a concern that several municipalities have been raising within the association for some time, especially due to the need to unify criteria and actions across the territory. In this regard, he expressed the CMAT\u2019s full willingness to work hand in hand with the sector to \u201c<strong>identify the problems and seek joint solutions<\/strong>\u201d, stressing the importance of collaboration between municipalities and users themselves, promoting this type of tourism in an orderly and organised way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For his part, the vice-president of AGA explained that one of the main difficulties detected by the group is the lack of specific areas for motorhomes, as well as the limited capacity of municipalities to monitor compliance with existing rules and regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Galician association also stressed that they themselves are the first to be interested in ensuring that rules are respected, avoiding uncivil behaviour that could create a negative image of their activity.
