The event also included the unveiling of the digital version and translation of the emblematic book by Xan Fern\u00e1ndez Carrera, <em>Costa da Morte, Conf\u00edn de Europa<\/em>, as well as the publication of the new Craft Guide for Costa da Morte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event brought together over 60 attendees, including institutional representatives from all member municipalities, as well as professionals from the tourism and cultural sectors. The official opening was led by Mr. Manuel Mu\u00ed\u00f1o, President of CMAT and Mayor of Zas, who thanked all attendees for their presence in Mux\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr. Pepe Formoso (APTCM) then highlighted the importance of joint work among all members, leaving aside individualism, and emphasized the role of the new website as the main promotional platform for the destination. He also introduced the digital edition and translation of <em>Costa da Morte, Conf\u00edn de Europa<\/em>, a key work to understand the identity of this Atlantic region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Institutional presentations also included speeches from Mr. Xos\u00e9 Regueira, Vice President of the Provincial Council of A Coru\u00f1a, who underlined \u201ccraftsmanship as a unique value of the territory\u201d and encouraged artisans to take advantage of tourism-related opportunities to continue growing; and Mr. Xos\u00e9 Merelles, Director of the Galician Tourism Agency, who acknowledged the steady growth of the tourism sector in Costa da Morte and praised the collaboration between institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mar\u00eda Lema, Vice President of CMAT, also addressed the audience to highlight the work done with local artisans and the importance of craftsmanship as a differentiating factor for the future of tourism in Costa da Morte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To close the event, Mr. Manuel Mu\u00ed\u00f1o presented the new website project (<a class=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.visitacostadamorte.com\">www.visitacostadamorte.com<\/a>) alongside the development team \u2014 the local company WP Nord\u00e9s \u2014 and took the opportunity to reflect on his term as President of CMAT, expressing gratitude for the support from his team, APTCM, and the collaboration of both provincial and regional governments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On June 2nd, at the Parador da Costa da Morte in Mux\u00eda, the Costa da Morte Tourism Association (CMAT) presented two key initiatives to promote the destination: the launch of its new official tourism website and the digital edition of the book Costa da Morte, Conf\u00edn de Europa.
