On the afternoon of Thursday 23rd, CMAT itself presented, together with representatives of the Provincial Council of A Coru\u00f1a and Turismo de Galicia, the promotional video <strong>\u2018Costa da Morte, Naturally Wild\u2019 <\/strong>and the campaign of the Association of Tourism Professionals of the Costa da Morte (APTCM) <strong>\u2018Season of the Sea\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The presentation of \u2018Costa da Morte, Naturally Wild\u2019.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During the official presentation of CMAT at FITUR, <strong>Manuel Mu\u00ed\u00f1o<\/strong>, president of CMAT; <strong>Xos\u00e9 Manuel Merelles<\/strong>, president of the Galician Tourism Agency; <strong>Xos\u00e9 Regueira,<\/strong> vice-president of the A Coru\u00f1a Provincial Council; and <strong>Pepe Formoso,<\/strong> president of APTCM and secretary of CMAT, had the opportunity to speak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The presentation revolved around two important axes: the importance of public and private collaboration in the CMAT, the result of the joint work of the 17 municipalities and businessmen through APTCM; and the tourist value that the Costa da Morte has at different times of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the beginning of the presentation, <strong>Manuel Mu\u00ed\u00f1o <\/strong>took the opportunity to thank the attendees and speakers for their presence and to highlight the Costa da Morte as a sustainable tourist destination, with the great added value of astro-tourism: \u2018The Costa da Morte stand at FITUR is the best place to find a gigantic expression of colours, sounds and material and immaterial heritage. To discover an immense conjunction of flavours, smells, sea, land and starry sky; a magical spirituality that envelops everyone who visits this Naturally Wild geodestination. All this and more is what the Costa da Morte <strong>offers 365 days a year<\/strong>, during the four seasons, <strong>including winter\u2019.<\/strong> After his speech, he gave way to the projection of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=HZDb8Uicsuo\"><strong>promotional video \u2018Costa da Morte, Naturally Wild\u2019.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Costa da Morte, Destino Tur\u00edstico Naturalmente Salvaje\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HZDb8Uicsuo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>For his part, <strong>Xos\u00e9 Manuel Merelles<\/strong>, director of Tourism of Galicia, pointed out the great relevance of the Costa da Morte for tourism in Galicia: \u2018To see 17 municipalities coming together to form a tourist destination as powerful as the Costa da Morte is very satisfying. It is very relevant and is one of the most active in the whole autonomous community, always offering the best under the premises of quality and sustainability\u2019. In addition, Merelles also added the \u2018importance of public and private collaboration in the development of the Costa da Morte geodestination\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Xos\u00e9 Regueira,<\/strong> vice-president of the Provincial Council of A Coru\u00f1a, highlighted above all the attractions of the Costa da Morte the value of its intangible heritage: \u2018The Costa da Morte is much more than landscapes, gastronomy and its people. The fantastic thing about the Costa da Morte is that it has all this and also an intangible heritage that is of the highest level and its attraction is enormous in any season\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pepe Formoso<\/strong>, president of the APTCM, also made reference to the value of deseasonalisation. After the presentation and screening of the promotional video of the<strong> \u2018Sea Season\u2019 <\/strong>campaign, he made a plea in favour of public-private collaboration: \u2018We are admired as a destination thanks to the joint work of the entrepreneurs and the 17 municipalities of the Costa da Morte, where we have a season and quality products all year round. We already have 365 days a year to enjoy this magnificent territory\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This presentation and the general role of the CMAT at FITUR highlight the essential symbiosis that exists in the Costa da Morte between the public and private sectors.
